GET/v1/webhook-events

List events

list_webhook_events

Returns the organization's events from the last 30 days, whether or not any webhook is subscribed to them: use it to sync without webhooks or to catch up on events a receiver missed after a failure. Events are sorted in ascending order, like a log. next_cursor is always returned, even when has_more is false: store it and keep polling from the same position. An event appears in the feed once it has been queued for webhook delivery, usually less than a second after the change. An event has the same shape as a webhook delivery body without the delivery fields. Requires the ORG_MANAGE_KEYS permission; an API key needs the read scope. Added in 1.62.0.

Authentication

Send an API key in the Authorization header: Authorization: Bearer <key>.

Query parameters

  • limitinteger

    Number of events per page.

    Default: 50≥ 1, ≤ 200

  • cursorstring

next_cursor from the previous response with the same filters. Without a cursor, the feed starts at the beginning of the retention period.

    length ≤ 512

  • typearray of string

Event type or domain mask (card.* matches all card events, * matches all events). Repeat up to 20 times.

    items ≤ 20

  • object_typestring

Type of the event object (card, draft, announcement, question).

    length ≤ 64

  • object_idstring

ID of the event object, for example a card.

    length ≤ 200

  • created_sincestring (date-time)

Events at or after this moment (inclusive), in RFC 3339 with a time zone offset.

  • created_untilstring (date-time)

Events before this moment (exclusive), in RFC 3339 with a time zone offset.

Responses

200OK

Response headers

  • RateLimit-Policy

Limits in effect, in the format of the IETF draft draft-ietf-httpapi-ratelimit-headers: comma-separated items "<name>";q=<quota>;w=<window in seconds>. key is the request rate of the API key (the quota is the burst, the window is the time to refill it fully; for a session it is user, without credentials ip); minute, day and month are the organization's quotas for the calendar minute, day and month in UTC.

  • RateLimit

What is left of each limit in RateLimit-Policy: "<name>";r=<remaining>;t=<seconds until reset>.

  • X-RateLimit-Limit

Limit of the strictest entry in RateLimit-Policy (the one with the fewest requests left).

  • X-RateLimit-Remaining

Requests left under the strictest limit.

  • X-RateLimit-Reset

Seconds until the strictest limit resets.

application/json

Object: WebhookEventList

  • dataarray of WebhookEventrequired
  • next_cursorstringrequired

Cursor for the next request. It is always returned, even when has_more is false: store it and keep polling from the same position, and new events arrive with the next request.

  • has_morebooleanrequired

    More events follow this page.

400The request is invalid: a parameter value or the state of the object does not allow the action (`detail` is a message).

  • X-RateLimit-Remaining

Requests left under the strictest limit.

  • X-RateLimit-Reset

Seconds until the strictest limit resets.

application/json

Object: Error

403The action is not allowed: the role is insufficient, there is no access to the collection or card, the request runs in “View as” mode, or the organization is suspended or deleted (`detail` is an object with `code: org_suspended | org_deleted`).

application/json

Object: Error

429Too many requests (`api.rate_limited`), the organization's quota for the minute, day or month is used up (`api.quota_exceeded`; `error.details` holds `quota`, `limit` and `reset_at`), the organization's limit is reached, or the answer service is busy (`answers.engine_busy`). Wait for the time in the `Retry-After` header.

Error codes

Codes this endpoint can return in error.code, besides the general codes of every request.

Rate limits

Responses carry the RateLimit and RateLimit-Policy headers and the earlier X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset. A 429 response has Retry-After in seconds: wait and retry.
