PUT/v1/collections/{name}/permissions

Grant roles on a collection

grant_collection_permissions

Requires COLLECTION_MANAGE_PERMISSIONS. The subject is a group or a user. role_ids are object-scope roles (owner, editor, verifier, viewer or custom roles) that the subject gets on the collection and everything in it. They replace the subject's previous roles on this object. You cannot remove the last owner.

Authentication

Send an API key in the Authorization header: Authorization: Bearer <key>.

The object is locked for viewing (source:<id>): a source in mirror mode sets its permissions, inheritance from the collection and folders does not apply, and manual grants are rejected (409 authz.managed_by_source). null for a regular object.

Rate limits

Responses carry the RateLimit and RateLimit-Policy headers and the earlier X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset. A 429 response has Retry-After in seconds: wait and retry.
