GET/v1/api-logs

List API requests

list_api_logs

Returns requests made with the organization's API keys during the last 14 days, newest first: method, path template, status, latency, request_id, client address, request and response size, and error code. Bodies, query parameters and headers are not stored. A record appears a second or two after the response. Above the daily log limit of an organization (100,000 records), successful requests and rejections by the rate limiter and the quota are recorded as a sample (sample_rate); other errors are always recorded. An API key limited to collections (collection_ids) sees only its own requests and the requests of the keys it sees in GET /v1/api-keys. Requires the ORG_MANAGE_KEYS permission; an API key needs the admin role and the admin scope. Added in 1.62.0.

Authentication

Send an API key in the Authorization header: Authorization: Bearer <key>.

Query parameters

  • limitinteger

    Number of records per page.

    Default: 50≥ 1, ≤ 200

  • cursorstring

next_cursor from the previous response with the same filters. Without a cursor, the list starts with the newest records.

    length ≤ 512

  • key_idinteger

Only requests made with this API key of the organization.

    ≥ 1

  • statusstring

Response code (404) or class of codes (4xx, 5xx).

    length ≤ 3

  • methodstring

    HTTP method (GET, POST …).

    length ≤ 7

  • routestring

Path template as shown in records (/v1/cards/{card_id}); unmatched selects requests outside API operations.

    length ≤ 200

  • error_codestring

Error code from the catalog, for example api.rate_limited.

    length ≤ 100

  • request_idstring

Request ID (the X-Request-Id response header).

    length ≤ 128

  • created_sincestring (date-time)

Requests at or after this moment (inclusive), RFC 3339 with an offset.

  • created_untilstring (date-time)

Requests before this moment (exclusive), RFC 3339 with an offset.

Responses

200OK

Response headers

  • RateLimit-Policy

Limits in effect, in the format of the IETF draft draft-ietf-httpapi-ratelimit-headers: comma-separated items "<name>";q=<quota>;w=<window in seconds>. key is the request rate of the API key (the quota is the burst, the window is the time to refill it fully; for a session it is user, without credentials ip); minute, day and month are the organization's quotas for the calendar minute, day and month in UTC.

  • RateLimit

What is left of each limit in RateLimit-Policy: "<name>";r=<remaining>;t=<seconds until reset>.

  • X-RateLimit-Limit

Limit of the strictest entry in RateLimit-Policy (the one with the fewest requests left).

  • X-RateLimit-Remaining

Requests left under the strictest limit.

  • X-RateLimit-Reset

Seconds until the strictest limit resets.

application/json

Object: ApiLogList

  • dataarray of ApiLogEntryrequired
  • next_cursorstring | nullrequired

Cursor for the next page; null when this page is the last one.

  • has_morebooleanrequired

    More records follow this page.

400The request is invalid: a parameter value or the state of the object does not allow the action (`detail` is a message).

Requests left under the strictest limit.

  • X-RateLimit-Reset

Seconds until the strictest limit resets.

application/json

Object: Error

application/json

Object: Error

403The action is not allowed: the role is insufficient, there is no access to the collection or card, the request runs in “View as” mode, or the organization is suspended or deleted (`detail` is an object with `code: org_suspended | org_deleted`).

Object: Error

429Too many requests (`api.rate_limited`), the organization's quota for the minute, day or month is used up (`api.quota_exceeded`; `error.details` holds `quota`, `limit` and `reset_at`), the organization's limit is reached, or the answer service is busy (`answers.engine_busy`). Wait for the time in the `Retry-After` header.

Error codes

Codes this endpoint can return in error.code, besides the general codes of every request.

Rate limits

Responses carry the RateLimit and RateLimit-Policy headers and the earlier X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset. A 429 response has Retry-After in seconds: wait and retry.
